Busbar Systems is situated in
KIADB Industrial Area , Dabospet, Bangalore which is about 50 KM from the centre of Bangalore city. It is located adjacent to National Highway # 4. It is located about 1 KM from Dabaspet railway station
on Bangalore – Tumkur section of South Central Railways. It is therefore well connected by both rail & road. |

The plant has a built in area of 40,000 sq ft for manufacturing
and 10.000 sq ft for support staff. The manufacturing bay is
designed with large span for ease of movement of voluminous
equipment such as Busducts and large Panels. The entire building
is well ventilated and naturally illuminated. |

Power is made available from the utility and is backed up by a 125 kVA DG set. Broadband connection is available for communication. |

Busbar Systems has product specific manufacturing facility. It comprises Plate Shearing Machine, Plate Rolling Machine, Plate Bending Machine and Busbar Punching Machine that perform the most significant portion of the manufacturing process.

Welding of Aluminium, Copper and Steel forms the next major operation in the manufactureing process of Busbar Systems. Adequate number of welding machines are available not only for use in the factory but also during site installation. Purpose built machines are installed for seam welding and circumferential welding. |

Testing facility is available for carrying out the Routine Testing ( Shop Testing ) of the finished conforming to IS, IEC, ANSI and other international standards. Mechanical and Electrical Testing equipment of the product “In-Process” and custom built testing facility for critical parameters are maintained and routinely calibrated.

Type testing of the Busbar Systems is carried out at Central Power Research Institute, Bangalore which is one of the world’s largest Test Centers for electrical products. Proximity to this test laboratory has been a great advantage for BUSBAR SYSTEMS for the development and testing of equipment. Specific to the Bus Products, the test laboratory has a facilities to carry out tests for Short Time Withstand, Temperature Rise, Impulse Voltage Withstand, Degree of Protection, Air & Water Tightness, Radio Interference & Partial Discharge, Seismic Withstand and other electro-mechanical tests on the components.
